What a beautifully related and heartbreaking memory. Thank you for your service and your writing.
Judy Ann Giorchino

You are so welcome. I lived with a Viet Nam vet (82nd Airborne Ranger) for over nine years, from ’76 to ’85, and lived his Hell every day and every night when the dreams came. The memories never go away, do they, and sometimes I’m afraid (and sure) they get in the way of any future life in the sunlight. I do wish you peace of mind, and please keep writing your beautiful poetry, which heals not only yourself but everyone who reads it.
