Boy can I relate, especially to the part about no one taking it seriously. My own situation is triggered by starch. So long as I avoid it, I seem to be OK. But in my world there is no such thing as a “good whole grain.” There is so much more to nutrition, health, weight and weight loss than the simple “a calorie is a calorie.” I’m glad you figured this out and got yourself a doctor who would take you seriously!
