Like Dennett, I am also 64. Well 65 in two months. After surviving more than any one human being should be required to, I am (first forcibly, but now gratefully) alone for the last decade. I have died in a coma, and returned with renewed vigor, optimism, and the urgency to publish ALL that I have been writing for the last 45 years. I wear flip flops and capris to the grocery store, follow no societal expectations for either my generation or my diaspora, and am the loudest LGBTQ ally around.

I sense you are writing from a more centered heart space than the questions you raise, but I’m glad to have read this today Lisa Renee. I’ll be waiting around the bend…

To know where you're going find out where you've been. Not here for the fame game. I read. I write. I’m grateful.
