I’ve done dozens of cleanses, long and short, and while I often make my own juice I’ve also used some fantastic juice delivery services over the years.

I’ve personally tried and tasted all of these fantastic juices and can’t recommend them enough.

Whether you want to have a detox, a reset, or are interested in some healthy weight loss, these juices will help you get there. I tried to include companies that deliver the most widely so no matter where you are in the USA, you’ll be able to get them delivered.

My top pick is the long-time favourite Raw Generation whose three-day skinny cleanse is an incredible cleanse packed full of nutrition and high-quality fruits and veggies.

Overview

Who doesn’t love a good green juice? Chef V are known for their green drink that gets delivered fresh to your door. It’s not frozen, so you can drink it as soon as it arrives, and it’s unpasteurized, keeping all the goodness inside.

Their customers report losing weight, feeling less tired, having more mental focus, and just feeling great all round. The soup is also a wonderful addition because one of the hardest parts of a cleanse I find, is that you go without a hot meal. Having a big hot bowl of soup goes down a treat.

They even have a huge 21-day cleanse package, which claims you can lose up to 40lbs of weight!

Best Value — Juiced! Cold Press Juicery

Why it’s worth trying

Reasonable prices and a huge variety of flavors to try. Juiced! Offer some of the most interesting flavors out there at bargain-beating value per bottle.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Great prices
  • Large variety of flavors
  • Long-lasting

Cons

  • Shipping prices vary a lot
  • Goes through a High-pressure process which can lead to nutrient loss

Overview

Juiced! Are doing something that Chef V are not. Offering reasonably priced shipping to the Midwest. If you are on either coast, you’ll need to pay airmail fees. The product prices are great, and the taste is even better.

There are a huge amount of flavors to enjoy, including my favorite which is Pineapple, Turmeric, Lemon, and mint. I absolutely love the sharpness.

They’ve gone for a High-pressure process before bottling, which keeps the juice safe to drink for longer but some people think it can affect the nutrition of the juice. Compared to frozen that Raw Generation offer, or delivering fresh which Chef V offer. It just depends on your needs and wants.

Best for Green Juice — Raw Juicery

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Organic

Cons

  • Higher price

Overview

Raw Juicery are offering a fully organic, vegan, and raw juicing experience. They have 7 juices a day in their cleanse, and they are all packed with fruits and veg, including bonus superfoods like spirulina.

They ship out to you by next-day air to keep the juices fresh and they’ve also chosen to go with a high-pressure process to keep their juices for longer. I still prefer frozen juice rather than HPP but I do like they’re organic.

You’ll also love that these juices don’t use locally sourced ingredients… Bear with me. They decided that the best ingredients aren’t necessarily local, so they went global to track down the most nutritionaly dense ingredients for you. A super green juice cleanse.

Best cold-pressed — Pulp and Press

Key Specs

  • Delivery Area: Mainland USA
  • Product Arrives: Fresh

Why it’s worth trying

Coming to you from Canada, Pulp and Press are making incredible cold press juices. They’ve sold over 3,000,000 bottles since 2014 and have helped 1000s of people improve their wellness and gut health.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Free shipping over $100
  • 10 bottles worth of plastic removed from ocean coastlines with every order.
  • Locally sourced ingredients
  • Organic ingredients

Cons

  • Could use more green juice in its cleanse

Overview

Pulp and Press are based in Canada, but they seem to have a process plant in the USA. From there, they’re able to deliver wonderful cold press juices all across America. I really like that with them, you can set up a 15-minute call with a registered holistic nutritionist.

Their cleanse includes 7 juices a day, including an activated charcoal drink that helps flush out toxins from the body. The juices are chilled and should be stored in the refrigerator right away.

They offer a 3, 5, or 7-day cleanse depending on how experienced you are. If you’re a beginner, I recommend you try out a 3-day cleanse before you move on to something longer. These aren’t the only cold-pressed juices on the list, but they’re certainly some of the best, with each juice containing 3–4lbs of organic fruit and veg.

Best organic —Suja Organic

Key Specs

  • Delivery Area: Continental United States and Hawaii
  • Product Arrives: Fresh and chilled

Why it’s worth trying

Suja Organic offers an eight-juice-a-day cleanse for three days Featuring 4 different flavors of organic juice, including a celery juice.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • 100% organic cold pressed juice
  • 8 juices a day on the cleanse
  • Low sugar

Cons

  • Only 4 different flavours
  • Not vegan

Overview

I’ve been talking about Suja Organic for years. Alongside Raw Generation, they’ve been around the block a few times. This means they’ve perfected their recipes and their process, giving you the maximum amount of nutrition in every bottle. Ideal for a detox, the 3-day cleanse is perfect to get you fired up for a health kick.

The celery juice, in particular, is definitely organic because you can see the bits float to the bottoms! Not a problem, just give it a shake, and you’re on your way.

You also get a probiotic drink made with purees to help aid your gut health. This probiotic contains honey, so they don’t class these drinks as vegan. This a debate I’ll not get into here, but just leave at that.

Best one-day cleanse — Pressed Juicery

Pressed Juicery Logo

Key Specs

  • Delivery Area: Mainland USA
  • Product Arrives: Fresh

Why it’s worth trying

This is one of the most filling cleanses on the list. Perfect for a one-day reset. It includes several non-dairy milks.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • 6 flavours
  • Vegan, Kosher, Gluten Free, Non-GMO Certified
  • Perfect for beginners

Cons

  • Includes almond milk, which some people don’t enjoy on a cleanse

Overview

Pressed Juicery have locations all over america, primarily in California, Texas, Florida, and New York. But it’s worth seeing if they have a location near you for local delivery. The juices are tasty and made with more unusual ingredients giving you a wider variety of nutrients.

They also have a couple of almond milk-based drinks on their cleanse. Some people don’t enjoy this preferring a more vegetable and fruit-based cleanse, but I enjoy the change.

None of the other cleanses on this list include this, so it’s nice to see someone trying something different. This also ups the calories in a good way, so you stay fuller and feel better across your cleanse.

Best three day cleanse — Juice Generation

  • Interesting flavours

Cons

  • Pricey

Overview

The Juice Generation is LA’s cleanse of choice. Their website is covered in celebrity endorsement fo people who all agree, if you want great fresh juice, get yourself to Juie Generation.

I love that you get 12 different flavors, the most of any on the list, and teh flavors are more unique than the usual apple, cucumber, celery juice most companies offer. While I’ll always be a die hard Raw Generation fan, Juice Generation are also doing great work. The only question I have is why their names are so similar…

Best five-day cleanse — Raw Fountain Juice

Raw fountain Juice logo

Visit Raw Fountain Juice website

Key Specs

  • Delivery Area: Nationwide
  • Product Arrives: Frozen

Why it’s worth trying

If you want to start a health kick with a massive injection of green juice, then Raw Fountain Juice can help. You’ve even got ginger shots to give you a spark to your day.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Includes ginger shots
  • Made up of green juices
  • Good for weight management

Cons

  • Flavors are quite samey

Overview

Raw Fountain Juice are shipping out top-quality frozen juices straight to your door. No complicated shipping, just 2-day nationwide delivery. The juices are all apple-based, so the flavor has a little sweetness but not a lot of variety across the five days.

Cold-pressed for maximum nutrition and safe for 6–8 months in the freezer. You’ll just need to thaw out the next day's bottles in your refrigerator. Perfect for a longer detox at five days. These aren’t the only 5 day cleanses on the list, but again they’re some of my favorite.

If you’re looking for a longer cleanse, then give Raw Fountain Juice a try.

Things to Consider Before starting your cleanse

Length of Cleanse

If this is your first time juice cleansing, then you’ll want to start with a 3-day cleanse. Maybe even a 1 day cleanse if you’re not sure how you’ll take to it. No point wasting your money jumping into a 7-day cleanse and then stopping partway through only for your juices to spoil.

It’s why I like Raw Generation as a juice cleanse, actually. The bottles arrive frozen, so you can always store them for later if you decide to stop your cleanse early.

If you’re a veteran cleanser, then by all means, dive in. Try out a 7-day cleanse and see how you get on! But don’t feel the pressure, just do what feels right, this is for your well-being after all.

Activities planned

Cleanses don’t leave you with a ton of energy if you’re already an active person. It’s not something you should do if you want to continue hitting the gym every day. Your body simply needs more fuel than that.

But if you’re a more typical desk worker like me, you’ll get on just fine.

Plus, you can always add raw veggies or nuts to your diet if you find you are absolutely famished. They won’t do too much to interpret the cleanse and can only add to the mass of veggies you’re adding to your system.

What are your goals?

Understanding why you’re doing something is so important if you’re going to stick to your goals.

For instance, a goal of weight loss that’s backed by a desire to be more healthy is going to be much more successful than a goal of weight loss motivated by the thought of pleasing others. Food for thought.

Frequently asked questions

Do juice cleanses help you lose weight?

They sure do. You are consuming fewer calories on a cleanse than you are burning in a typical day, so that difference leads to weight loss.

Can You Eat Anything While on a Juice Cleanse?

It depends on which purist you talk to. Some purists believe you should only have juice while on a juice cleanse, but I 've been known to have some raw veggies or a handful of Brazil nuts while on a cleanse to keep the worst of the hunger at bay.

Can You Drink Coffee While Juicing?

Again the purists say that no caffeine is an integral part of the cleanse, alongside no alcohol, meats, or dairy. I, however, love my morning coffee, and no health guru out there is going to stop me.

I do try and stick to black coffee, but a little splash of nondairy milk isn’t going to hurt anyone.

Plus, giving up caffeine can lead to headaches, and doing a cleanse can be hard enough without caffeine withdrawals.
