I echo Mark and Devan’s comments, particularly as I coach track. We spend at least 30 minutes of each training session doing sprint drills over and over again. Even those who are already competent have to practise them and we keep correcting every time. Not only does this improve their sprinting but it also minimises injuries both short and long term.
The great thing is they have learnt to apply the same principles in other parts of their lives. That’s the joy of being a coach!
