Thanks for the insight Jon. Seen this so many times at all levels of business. In some ways it’s even more insidious in middle management where it is almost the de Facto and it kills the company – death by a thousand cuts. It’s often accompanied by a blame culture.
The answer has to be an open and blame free environment where the team can flourish. However at some stage you have to make a decision and then focus, while still being flexible enough to iterate.
