Akinori, Thanks for writing this. I had no awareness of this change, I just knew the fonts were different on my iPhone. But the thing I did notice is that the linespacing on the new iOS/Mac has been seriously compromised on apps like Contacts and Facebook. Lines of type are literally riding on each other in search listings and sometimes riding right on a rule. I hope Apple is working on fixing this as it looks so amateur. Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave.
