Is Fitbit the new doctor?

For those who don’t know what a Fitbit is, it is a watch like object that does more than just tell the time. It tells your heartbeat, calories, steps, and so much more. But does it tell you if you are pregnant? One couple found out it can do just that.

A New York couple both had fitbits, trying to be a little healthier. David Trinidad’s wife, Ivvone Trinidad, told her husband that she believed her fitbit was broken when it one day her heartbeat was reaching higher than her normal rate of 72 beats per minute. Their fitbits were just a month old, when David went online to report the problem. While reading some of the comments as to what it might be, one in particular stood out to him. A comment that said maybe his wife was pregnant.

After reading this comment he asked his wife to buy pregnancy tests to try and see if this was true, and after ten tests or so the answer came back positive.

The final conclusion to this story is simple, fitbits are the new pregnancy tests.
