News for Pinterest?

Let me begin this blog by saying first that in my opinion, I believe that news stations/News 7 should use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and their website. I do not think that any other social media is good for news. Going back to my snapchat blog I was strongly against it for news. I think that these other social media accounts do not do anything for news. Instagram is where you can go if all you want to see are pictures and short videos.

Twitter is where you go when you want to see things happening now. When you want quick updates and straight to the point answers on what is happening when it comes to breaking news or local news.

And Facebook is where you go when you want more information. When there is breaking news you will hear more of what is going on. You will see videos and pictures and stories written about local news and breaking news. There is no restriction when it comes to how many letters and words are in a Facebook post.

I think that every other social media out there doesn’t do justice for news. When I use tumblr, very very very rarely Pinterest, I use it to look at health pictures, and cheerleading, and food, and random stuff. I don’t use that for news. I was suggest to follow news organizations on both but I use them to get away from news. You need to have some social media that is your savor from all the breaking and scary news. And I don’t think news organizations understand that. Having just a few social media sites will make people follow and like you more than if you have tons. People will have to follow you on Facebook and Twitter because that is where you are. Unlike if you have tons and tons of social media sites people might follow you or they will just see your posts.

In the end to me and how I would run a news organization, like how I run News7 I do not think that any other social media site, besides Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the news website, is a good idea for news outlets.
