In the game, the user will use arrow keys to move the character in different directions. The user will use the mouse to aim and a mouse click to allow the character to shoot fireballs. The current objective of the game is for the character to shoot the monster out of the screen. Known issues include controlling the volume bar in ‘Options’ and the current view of the game screen. At the moment, the volume bar does not increase nor decrease the volume of the background music. The game screen camera crops part of the game out from view. However, we do have improvements from the alpha stage. We have added gravity to the character, and the character is now able to move more freely. We have also allowed the character to shoot an infinite amount of fireballs rather than just one fireball. Our future goals include having a timer, having a point system, and allowing the monster to move randomly around the screen. The timer would be set to 10 seconds, and the user would try to get the character to hit the monster as many times as possible. One point would be awarded for each hit the character does to the monster.
