Speech in the US is already far more restricted than you portray here. You may not legally reveal any information that is either classified or proprietary (unless you own it) and you may not dispense advice of certain kinds unless you are licensed to do so; medical, legal, etc. And you can be forbidden to reveal even your own personal information if subject to a gag order or non-disclosure agreement. You may not lie to gov’t officials or on gov’t forms in most situations. And then there’s libel and slander, and confidentiality violations that are not government ordered. And there are even some restrictions on false advertising and on making product health claims. Also, you cannot urge someone to suicide or murder or incite violence if you are an ordinary citizen, or yell ’fire’ in a crowded theater, say ‘bomb’ in an airport or airplane, or knowingly make false accusations of criminal activity against anyone who can afford a lawyer. But if you are accused/suspected of a crime without the benefit of a good lawyer or a strong alibi, you will likely be coerced into a confession or plea bargain in order to drastically reduce your jail time, whether you have to lie about being guilty or not.
