Bill, before you rush off to the next election with an even less suitable two candidates, and more of the same nonsense for 4 years. Your math assumes without stating that 45% don’t show up on election day. It also makes no mention that there are 4 presidential candidates not 2.
Clinton and Trump get about 50% of the votes of the 55% of voters that do show up on election day (27.5%). That’s under 30% of the total American voters.
No show voters supporting a non Trump non Clinton could make that candidate president. ( 45% to 30%)
