The End of Firewatch

I think what disappointed me about the ending was that it had to do with something that I just didn’t care about. I spent 5ish hours immersing myself in this story and getting lost in the interesting interactions between Henry and Delilah, and really started to care about those characters. I even started to think Delilah was orchestrating the whole thing, which made me excited because it was a nice little twist that made me feel like I was playing an off-kilter mystery game directed by Steven King.
What excites me most about Firewatch is that it feels like a chapter of a larger game or a series of short stories. I truly hope that it can be built upon and look forward to what’s next from Campo Santo.
