I Am The Sky. .

The sky mimics the ocean.

The ocean is the tears of all love lost.

I fell in love with poetry;

Then love in love with myself.

I look in the sky & see the heart of love,

Only to find it floating away.

I got so high in the sky,

The sun became a mile below me.

I searched in the sky for a father,

But that’s something the man that lives beyond the sky is yet to show me.

The sky is a reflection of me:

Dark, purple to mirror my sorrow.

Blue for the songs I sing.

I fell in love with poetry.

Then fell in love with myself.
