Tess, I love this story of your NaNo Rebel Journey!

I am also a rebel this year, because I have been rewriting my 2014 NaNo draft into something coherent, with the sage feedback from my writing group!

My current cast of characters would rebel hard if I abandoned them at this point for a new cast. And why would I? I love the cast in my current novel, and I want to continue to discover their journey in November.

My goal this month is to write or edit every day in some fashion — either morning pages, or messy first draft of the next chapter, or editing said messy drafts of chapters.

I love that NaNo can mean many things to many people, and above all, galvanizes writers to write in a way that suits them best.

Keep writing!

Julie
