Forget vision. Execution is the #1 factor in building a startup team.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
- Big projects that move forward fast. It’s your job as a founder to do the grunt work and get the obstacles out of the way.
- Superstar team that loves working together. Make new team members jump through hoops before you let them join. Get rid of people who aren’t perfect.
- Less talking. Meetings kill momentum, get rid of every meeting you can. For when you do meetings, check out this video by Google Ventures.
FAILURE LOOKS LIKE:
- Founders that are late to team meetings.
- Hierarchy.
