Top 5 POC Youtubers
There is many great Youtubers out there who make content, but lets be real here for a minute. 70% of them are white. I’m not saying that they aren’t great too, but we want to see content created from People of Color. Here is my Top 5 POC Youtubers that I am subscribed.
A fantastic black artist is all I have to say to Tatyana. I discovered her after finding her self portrait using copic markers video. Her artwork is beyond anything than I have seen. With a unique art style and helpful tips for drawing. Watching her videos is just so amusing, how someone can draw so beautifully. From what I noticed her art style, she includes a lot of color not just white. Off the bat, I fell in love with her and her art. If you have not seen her Black Lives Matter too video ,please do so ! Funniest and most creative Youtubers who is COMPLETELY underrated. Duncan, who is half English/ half Japanese has been on Youtube for quite a while. With his skit like videos, he entertains his audience with references to comics, WWE, and sometimes shooting himself with a gun ( fake of course). Discovering him in a vlog with fellow Youtubers Dan and Phil , I was hooked with Duncan’s challenge series. Duncan videos are subtitled for non-Japanese speakers. 3. Sonia & Celia Leslie
Hands down the best makeup beauties in the galaxy. I love these twins with all my heart. Black/Latinx mix, they started their Youtube channel after getting a lot of request on tumblr and also on other sites. I discovered both of them on tumblr and subscribed to them once they made their channel. With unique makeup tutorials and makeup reviews, you stay hooked. They take the BEST selfies I have ever seen oh lord. If you haven’t seen their selfie game, you haven’t lived. Check out their tumblrs : Sonia & Celia !
2. ShesLulu
I am so grateful I discovered Lulu. Her ‘don’t care’ and let loose style is what I live for. Mexican and ain’t afraid to show it, Lulu does beauty and vlogs on her channel. Her makeup tutorials are the BOMB. Her vlogs are the BEST to watch when feeling down. I have watched her The Worst Makeup Tutorial at least 100 times. Lulu doesn’t make you feel bored, she makes you feel hyped as fuck. Lulu is one of the realist makeup gurus on Youtube and deserves more than 300k subscribers. Check out her twitter !
Underrated as fuck. TheThirdPew aka Nathan Zed is one amazing creator. Zed, started Youtube back in 2011 , now in his second year of college. Zed, who talked about his struggles accepting the fact he is Ethiopian, now shows he is proud of his roots. From appearing as a fan submission in JacksFilms (Youtuber ) YGS 50 to now a Youtuber in YGS 100 has shown a huge step into his Youtube career. Not only is Zed’s channel is filled with creativity but also his snapchat. Giving music recommendations, supporting self love to his audience, and much more. A video I HIGLY suggest everyone should watch is this video before starting his channel. Zed is a wonderful human being, a hilarious creator, grateful for the things Youtube has given him.
