It’s Not About the Sex — except when it is…

Today I’m completing the London Real Business Accelerator, an amazing program developed by entrepreneur and thought leader, Brian Rose.
As many people who joined him in this, I was a fan who had a passion that I wanted to turn into a business. I know what many out there might be thinking, ‘another sucker parts with his money.’ And, if you only looked at my current results, you’d probably be right.
But this course and the work I did in it, was so much more. Just to be clear I did learn many of the secrets to online marketing, vlogging, setting up my system’s getting my work out in a quick and powerful way. But that was not all.
I learned how to work with a group of strangers, ask for help, navigate technology, deal with resistance, social media, and have fun along the way.
But wait, there’s more.
I got practical advice from Brian and his excellent staff of coaches, people who really knew what they were doing and how to hack away at my problems. That alone is worth the price of admission.
This is powerful, and I can see why a number of graduates are already making six figures from being in this course. This shit works.
So why the title the weird? Answer, I’m weird add roll that way? Partially, but it’s more because everything in life works best when you don’t overly focused on the details.
Too many people I know go on a date, focusing only on sex. It is understandable but doesn’t work well, as it alienates the date, making them feel like someone who’s on the menu. Not the most attractive approach.
The same is true about business. If I only focus on sales, don’t build trust/rapport or focus on value,my chances at making the sale go down. And, if only focus on the systems it just being enthusiastic, I also won’t make the sale either.
What Brian and his fabulous team teach is amazing and life transforming, because itdeals with all aspects of business. In my analogy, it helps you have a greatdate and a happy night afterwards. This means I have the relationship and sex I want.
All jokes aside, that’s really what I want from my business, a relationship that gives me goodness over time, as reward for creating and sharing value with my customers.
For those of you interested in brass tax, I can tell you that I’m in process. I have my online business started. I have a nice website, am active on social media, started writing blogs again, advd now I’m vlogging.
No big sales yet, but I’ve had a few dates my webinars have been fun, and many have shared that they received value
Even in my regular brick and mortar training business I can see that I’m already making an even greater difference in the lives of my friends, family and a few people who come across me than before.
I’m a better person, business person and friend now that I’m more out there. Thank you Brian Rose and London Real. You have truly made a difference in my life, and I’ll never get the same again.
This feels good and it’s only the beginning. I’m finding my voice and slowly but surely getting myself on track to make the difference I came here to make.

And thank you Business Accelerator family for showing up with your passion, creativity, inspiration, for gently busting my balls, and helping me be more of the amazing person I came here to be.
