This short article aims to present an anomaly caused by ultrasound on the Xiaomi MI5S Plus gyroscope and similar MEMS cells. Ultrasonic seizures have been presented a few times at security conferences such as BlackHat and DefCon. However, when I started testing with my Xiaomi MI5S Plus, I realized that the resonance frequency of the gyro module is approximately 20400Hz. This frequency can be generated by a function generator, a amplifier and a common speaker.

The video below shows the setup working, as well as a small variation in the frequency of the signal generated, it is possible to realize that at reaching 20400Hz the gyroscope of the mobile phone starts the resonance that can be visualized through an application that monitors the gyroscope.
