When I listen to anti-Obama/Trump supporters and republicans only one thought enters my mind. Both parties represent the small number of elites gaining from the deterioration of businesses, decline in workers salaries, rights and benefits and from the overall degeneration of our communities. This small group claims ownership of everything from the banks down to the mental state of the nation. After building all this prosperity on the backs of slaves and workers, and with our ideas; we the people are now suddenly undeserving freeloaders. Owning businesses doesn’t matter. Being veterans doesn’t matter. And neither does the labor of millions of people who built this country as surely as the Egyptian slaves and workers built the pyramids. Their work defined the nation. But what is America right now anyway? Who decides who we are and what we can achieve? Do we the people have any inalienable rights or must we accept this authoritarian travesty as the newly established norm. We’re in trouble when lawless people control our destiny and determine ethical behavior.

The constitution demands that we abolish any government that is opposed to our health and welfare. In the US under president Trump even domestic tranquility is a distant memory. Every day we are bombarded with various stories about how the government wants to disenfranchise and further burden the American people. Even though different groups are being singled out, there is always bad news for somebody every single day. It’s supposed to be so disheartening that the majority of Americans just tune out, watch TV, a movie, play a video game or watch sports.

“Who is fake news then, the real media,” my sister asked? That’s the problem isn’t it? Every American news and media outlet disseminates information from differing poles on the same political/economic axis and it’s all commercial. It all makes money for the corporations who are poisoning people while milking them dry. Americans are not a stupid people, and they’re not simply misinformed. They’re being misled and coerced into accepting this monetary imbalance and corruption. It doesn’t matter which side they choose as long as nothing leads them to expect more economic justice and freedom. The reality facing them is unfettered greed and capitalism using the mainstream media to deny any public knowledge of what is actually being done.

“So who’s the real Fake News, Donald Trump,” she asked? They’re all fake but for different reasons, I tried to explain. The establishment media and the Trump government are like two sides of the same coin. And none of it is about politics. It’s all theater. The public is denied access to information even when their health and welfare is involved. The corporate media is controlled by a few elite billionaires and official narratives involving history changing current events have not been thoroughly investigated. Quite the contrary. Entire lines of questioning were deliberately avoided and anyone reporting on them were immediately labeled conspiracy theorist. That’s how the establishment propagandized the American people and it’s far beyond anything that would be expected from a totalitarian regime. President Trump thinks TASS does a better job, but that’s not saying much.

The only thought that enters my mind in light of all this is how?
