Four new iPhone 14 versions without a “small” version will be available

While 9to5Mac sources validated a rumor regarding the new models having different CPUs, we also learnt that the iPhone 14 Pro versions may have a higher screen owing to the redesigned design and that Apple has still been working on satellite services.

Specifications for the iPhone 14

Early iPhone 14 speculation stated that Apple’s smartphone range in 2022 would include four new models, but this time without a “mini” variant. According to our sources, the new iPhone 14 (codenamed D27 and D28) will be offered in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes, while the existing 5.4-inch iPhone small form-factor will be terminated.

These mid-range phones will feature the same display resolution as the existing iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, the display on the flagship iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max (codenamed D73 and D74) may be significantly taller to fit the new “notch + pill” design that will replace the notch.
