When a new model of a phone is released, we typically anticipate that it will be an improvement over the previous one. This is undoubtedly the case with iPhones, as each new model typically has some mix of enhanced features as well as the same technical specifications. However, there is a possibility that the iPhone 14 Pro Max is worse in at least one respect.

According to the information provided by the leaker Shrimp Apple Pro (opens in a new tab), the battery capacity of the device is 4,323 mAh. This represents a little decrease when compared to the 4,352 mAh capacity of the battery found in the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It’s a shift that’s obviously heading in the wrong direction, but the fact that it’s only a little variation means that it probably won’t have much of an effect on life overall.

The possible battery capacities of the other iPhone 14 models have also been revealed by the source. The standard iPhone 14 is said to have a battery capacity of 3,279 mAh, which is an increase from the 3,240 mAh found in the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 Pro is said to have a capacity of 3,200 mAh, which is an increase from the 3,095 mAh found in the iPhone 13 Pro. Finally, the new iPhone 14 Max is said to have a battery capacity of 4,325 mAh.
