This episode wasn’t the tipping point, but I have drawn the conclusion I don’t need Comcast in my life any longer. Between cable news I don’t trust, the 30 or so cable channels that host absurd reality shows, and ridiculous fees (why is anyone charged a $5 “broadcast fee”? Isn’t the monthly subscription a broadcast fee?) I decided to walk away. Why pay for crap?
Losing ESPN is no great loss either. Here they are trying to take some sort of moral high ground, yet they continually turn a blind eye to the exploitation and what has become the modern day plantation: college football and the NCAA.
