CO2 emission of 4wdDAO <<<< F1 and the World Cup

The sports industry can not be indifferent to environmental issues either, with reports indicating that Formula One emits 256,000 tons of CO2 each season.

The sport published an extensive report into its environmental impact, including revealing its 256,000 tons of CO2 emissions each season.

According to Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator, it’s equivalent to 55,160 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year.

This number is enormous, but the World Cup generates more than 10x the CO2 emissions of F1.

In their greenhouse-gas accounting report, published last year, FIFA, the game’s governing body, and the Qatari organisers estimated that the World Cup would generate 3.6m tonnes of CO2 emissions.

We operate 4wdDAO Racing in a tiny room with rechargeable batteries. We don’t have an exact number of our CO2 emissions, but it’s crystal clear it would be a tiny amount.

Our CO2 emissions are minimal because

  1. Players, Machines, and Race venue are minimal.
  2. We don’t rely on selling tickets for monetization.

If we rely on ticket revenue, we need a large race venue to gather many audiences and make the match look like a show.

The report stated that 45% of the carbon is from air, sea and road transport required logistically to put on each race and a further 27.7% from the transport of personnel, promoters and partners.

According to the F1 report, most CO2 emissions come from transportation. It means if the sports rely on ticketing, they can’t solve this major issue.

That’s why we chose this 4wdDAO Racing as the first content.

This is our philosophy and sense of beauty.

4wdDAO Racing is held almost every day with almost zero CO2 emissions.
