Welcome to the first week of my aim journal! In this week, my goal was to identify my weaknesses and work on them!

Monday :

I played the Voltaic Platinum Fundamentals playlist for around an hour then did 30 minutes of random benchmark tasks. I then Played 3 deathmatches in VALORANT and 2 ranked games before doing another 30 minutes of benchmarks.

Notes

Often over-flick and spam click too much on static scenarios.

Considerations

Since I over-flick, I will play on scenarios with slower bots.

For spamming click too much I will try to learn the bots movements and patterns and take my time per shot.

Tuesday:

On this day, my focus was tracking/smoothness although I didn’t have time to play as I had badminton practice then had to go gym :(

Wednesday:

Today’s focus was smoothness and tracking as I couldn’t do that the day before. I played the PureG Smoothness routine on 1.5x my sensitivity.

Notes :

Often predict the bot’s movement instead of reacting to it. I should also focus on being less tense when aiming.

Considerations :

Focus on relaxing when aiming.

Thursday:

Played The VT bardOZ Advanced Routine for VALORANT then played VALORANT for the rest of the day. I didn’t really have a focus for this day so I played a variety of scenarios that included clicking, tracking, movement tracking and switching.

Notes

Didn’t really have anything that I noticed other than I kind of lack in clicking skill.

Considerations:

Play more clicking scenarios?

Friday:

Played The VT bardOZ Advanced Routine for VALORANT and PureG Smoothness playlists. Again, I didn’t have a focus for today so I just played these playlists.

Notes:

Again, noticed that my clicking is lacking. I also have noticed that my smoothness isn’t great and is mostly covered by the fact I play 136cm/360.

Considerations:

Play more clicking scenarios and play the clicking weakness specific routine by Voltaic.

Saturday:

Today’s focus was to simply grind benchmarks and see if I’ve made much improvement. My hands were incredibly cold so I didn’t aim at my best.

Notes:

Hands are very tense and hurt after a session (could be from my hands being cold but idk).

Flicking way too hard for no reason.

Considerations:

Stretch hands between each set of a scenario (every 5 runs). Try to be more relaxed and take a little bit more time between each bot.

Sunday:

Today, I did the same as yesterday and grinded benchmarks, making sure I was more relaxed in each play. I also found this thing called the 12345 method where you play a benchmark scenario in Novice, 2 in Intermediate, 3 in Advanced 4 in Advanced with smaller targets then 5 of your actual benchmark scenario. This method seemed to be successful as I got a diamond score! I also noticed huge improvement in VALORANT with these games below.

Notes:

While tracking, my hands seem to shake especially in the last 10 seconds of a run.

Mouse sensor seems to be a little bit broken and the chord gets stuck underneath desk.

Considerations:

Turn off the timer in KovaaK’s so I don’t know what time I have left.

Possibly purchase a new mouse (wireless??) or a mouse bungee.
