Don’t COMPETE where you don’t COMPARE

Dear old bucket list application, I am going to use you before I leave this earth. I promise!

Learning something new takes patience and time. Time is never enough, patience.. well patience is an acquired taste to some. So today I was working on backend part of my project. I’m using flask to render my templates and adding functionality to them so that they can execute some actions. I’m hardly half way there.

At first I was using so many tutorials to read about web forms and I realized, sadly belatedly that I was nowhere closer to understanding the main task. I tried to integrate many reading materials that I lost track of the bigger picture. I was going fast but not far; a huge error.

Don’t lose a diamond chasing glitter- switch lanes

Switching lanes. I love this! Had I realized this any sooner I would do things differently code or unrelated. See we all have a learning curve. It might be slow, fast, average. Our minds and surroundings are just variables to the curve constantly changing to determine our graph. Boot camp is challenging, it’s all put there in black and white. It has its ups and downs, I won’t deny I wanted to give up and be done with it but then you look at what you have learnt and wonder I’m still surviving, if I am to encounter this again it will be so much easier. And suddenly, hope and determination kick in.

What I learnt today was that if you ever feel overwhelmed with something, switch lanes but don’t switch up to a fast lane if you can’t lift your foot off the brakes.

YOYO- You Own Your Own

No matter how small it is.
