I’m reading this just as I’m wrapping up a boxing session w/ a client. Ironically enough so many of my clients confide in me about their struggles w/ depression, anxiety, and burnout. I’ve suffered w/ panic attacks my whole life and never knew what they were or why they were happening until I got older. Ignored them for the same reasons you laid out here, Charlie. It’s really interesting how men use muscles and the gym to shield other insecurities and battle wounds because talking about it is more painful than strains and sprains.
