As another woman of color in tech and the only black woman in my office I am okay with not having that conversation at work. I don’t want to be seen as a representative of Black America. Add in the fact that I don’t agree with many of the approach of Black Lives Matter “movement”, I really would rather just come to work to work.

I think once this conversation on race Black America keeps asking for actually begins its not going to go the way it is being envisioned. Are Blacks ready for the “truths” of White American experiences with Blacks?

I am a believer that no one deserves to die at the hands on any other person whether he/she wears a police uniform or jeans and a tee shirt, white or black.

Lastly, we need to address the issue of violence in Black America which ties into the police interactions that lead to decisions that forever change lives.
