The only real obstacle holding your theory back (other than the Bootstrap Paradox): Abrams / Kasdan were quite deft in avoiding any mention of the occurrences in Episodes I-III. If you start referencing Shmi, then you have to acknowledge Midichlorians, and no one wants that.
