It is rather confusing how the whole church doctrine is/gets, and no matter what, the Bible is clear, it is very clear but we must read it the way it was written and with the knowledge of the Truth not with human ideas and interpretations; we must let God lead us through His own Word. We have Revelation as Israel’s history and Daniel leading up to the time of Messiah and the great battle that would take place. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream represented Israel’s disobedience that lead to slavery and the King of Babylon was the one who took them captive and so he had a nightmare and that nightmare was a dream of what God was doing and going to do and yet the one thing no one sees is that God was the One doing it all:

Hos 13:7-9

"So I will be to them like a lion;
Like a leopard by the road I will lurk;
I will meet them like a bear deprived of her cubs;
I will tear open their rib cage,
And there I will devour them like a lion.
The wild beast shall tear them.

"O Israel, you are destroyed,
No one could touch Israel unless He gave them power to do so.
We must see in the statue what God is saying
 Gold was Babylon
 Silver is Medes and Persians
 Brass is Greece
If the Iron is Rome then what is Iron and clay?
Who does God call clay?
Isa 64:8
Yet, O LORD, you are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
Lam 4:2
How the precious sons of Zion,
once worth their weight in gold,
are now considered as pots of clay,
the work of a potter's hands!
Jer 18:5-7
Then the word of the LORD came to me: "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?" declares the LORD. "Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
A. The house of Israel
and it was that combination that existed when Messiah came
Rome and Israel
Iron and clay
What happened at the Crucifixion of Christ?
Caiaphas and Pilate became friends, where they were once enemies.
>>clay and iron mixed together
>>it took the two to crucify the Messiah.
That statue was the kingdoms of man and the Kingdom of God came and crushed those kingdoms and the Kingdom of heaven filled the earth with grace and truth and Love.
