Techno-Tribalism

One is amazed by advances in technology. The fields of astronomy, medicine and robotics are changing how we live. However our ability to see the existing human condition is beyond our capacity. We are experts at creating powerful war machines, yet unable to treat painful psychological wounds that accompany the spirit after the killing.

Medical advances are allowing many to live longer, as we presently see the frail and elderly go hungry, struggling to make ends meet. Science is presently pushing societies pre-scripted, age old, moral envelope, as many fearfully watch our ability to clone life and alter biological abnormalities in the womb. These amazing advances highlight the further reaches of human achievement. Yet equally amazing is our ineptness at treating socially engineered diseases, like oppression, poverty and hunger.

Humanities social and emotional evolution is centuries behind the digital. Perhaps we can develop malware to address societies corrupted file. It seems analogies, or words on a screen, will do nothing for those that are hungry

We lack compassion and understanding for the plight of others. Human communion is beyond our reach.
