My take is that Fredo is relatable: he’s the personification of anyone’s self-held fears about their own inadequacies.

Don Trump Jr. is the opposite. He’s the boisterous overcompensation for those same inadequacies, within himself.

The great thing about this whole concept is it takes for granted the idea that the Trump family is essentially a crime family. It’s crazy that we live in a world where this isn’t even controversial.

I guess my main problem with this is that I don’t think Don Trump Jr. is a Corleone because I think the Trumps are woefully inadequate as Corleones. If we must have a Godfather comp here, Donny Jr. is Carlo Rizzi.

I’m guessing we won’t get the satisfaction of seeing him garroted by Rex Tillerson anytime soon, though.
