This seems a tremendously deep topic for a series like this, and I assure you I’m not taking it down the religious or philosophical paths it could so easily travel.

Rather, I’m considering the bare-bones, common sense fact of it:

We’re scared because in the mere decades we’re able to live, we only experience a tiny percentage of what’s out there, and we fear the unknown.

This fear of the unknown, of course, stretches out into dozens of other fears and anxieties, but the basis is simple and understandable. And in some cases, perfectly justifiable. Maybe even beneficial.

But not always.

So let’s consider some examples of fear of the unknown, then think about how the Timeless Principles bear on this important subject.
