FALL INTO RED HOOK
1. We take the ferry over to Red Hook and embark on a semi-cultural afternoon (all in walking distance). For early comers, we can stop for a coffee at the Stumptown Roastery just up the street.
2. An art exhibition for an hour or so at Pioneer Works — for those that haven’t been it’s one of the most impressive art collectives and incubators in NYC to date. Founded by multi-media artist Dustin Yellin. It’s a truly inspirational space for artists, sculptors, hackers, etc. Currently there’s an exhibition by Rachel Sussman — The Oldest Living Things in the World that runs until 11/2. More reading material on the space can be found here.

3. The main event, food and drink — we head over to Hometown Barbeque one of the newest and most massive BBQ spots in NYC.

5) For those that want to hang, we can follow-up with a drink at Sunny’s Bar, Brooklyn’s renowned and oldest bar on the waterfront.
