Easter Eggs

Just another way to explore and appreciate city living

An Easter egg is an intentional inside joke, hidden message, or feature in a work such as a computer program, movie, book, or crossword.

I’m sure the gaming culture is well aware of this idea, movie junkies likely are, too. Restaurants even have them, in a way, like In-N-Out with Animal Style.

But isn’t it possible for cities to have Easter eggs?

It’s quite possible that’s the case and I’ve simply never heard someone reference them as Easter eggs. Clue me in if there’s a term for it already.

I’m aware of what I would consider Easter eggs, the opportunity to explore and find more is always there—to be nudged in the right direction without spilling the beans is fun, too.

Do you know of any in Chicago? Or anywhere for that matter?
