Effective prototyping and the fidelity spectrum

When it comes to prototyping, we think that efficiency is key. We create mockups, wireframes and prototypes to learn more about our design assumptions and requirements, and to communicate our ideas across our teams, as well as deliver them to stakeholders. Depending on our design style and resources to hand, our prototypes can vary in fidelity from basic sketches to high-resolution, interactive prototypes. With all the types and styles available to us, things can get a little confusing at times. Let’s take a look at how we can get the most out of the prototyping design stage and choose the right fidelity for our projects.
