Ever had a great idea in your head and found yourself stuck with where to start in getting it out and documenting it? This is something that used to happen to me regularly. That was until I discovered WorkFlowy.
I first stumbled upon WorkFlowy when it was mentioned in a Podcast by Kate Erickson on an Entrepreneur on Fire Podcast. It came up as one of the productivity tools she recommended so I took a look. Straight away I was hooked. I loved the simplicity of the app, its ease of use and the way it made…
My journey to better health and a ripper green juice recipe.
In 2018 I got hooked on making my own green juice and it changed my life for the better.
In October 2017 I caught Influenza B. It hit me hard. Two visits to hospital, 3 weeks in bed not being able to get up and losing 10 kilos in 2 weeks. I lost all my energy and felt absolutely terrible. I soon recovered though and got on with life. As a result I became determined to improve my overall health and wellbeing.
As a general rule, I don’t invest in things I don’t understand. I have found this to be true also for many business owners, particularly when it comes to their online presence, digital footprint and SEO.
Most business owners I talk to don’t totally understand Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and it, therefore, becomes something they don’t believe they need to invest time on or something they would just rather not deal with, throwing it in the ‘too hard’ basket. That is, until it becomes something they have to deal with. This often proves a challenge when starting a new project…
As messaging apps continue to fight for our attention, there is a real opportunity arising to connect with your online audience and potential clients where and when it counts most. Online messaging apps can open up new opportunities for your business, your network, and your customers.
For the past few months, I have been looking for better ways to connect with my audience outside of my email newsletter. I wanted to engage more effectively with both visitors to my website and leads I was nurturing in a way that was timely and efficient.
The journey kicked off…
Google’s Campaign URL Tool is a simple, free tool that helps you build a campaign specific tracking URL. These tracking URL’s are URL’s that contain additional information that will be passed to your Google Analytics account, allowing you to report on and understand how successful your marketing campaigns are.
I personally use tracking URL’s for things like; links in my email auto signature, email campaign links and links provided to third parties that link back to my content. This way, I can track the clicks in my own Google Analytics account and not rely on reports from anyone else.

This really hit home today on my mid-afternoon walk to get away from the desk today. Most of us are most likely very familiar with Gary Vaynerchuk and his story, but there are some new nuggets in this one that need to be shared.
His view on parenting and nurturing confidence is refreshing and articulated so well.
Thumbs up to Heather Monahan for sharing this talk and kicking off the Creating Confidence podcast.
Give it a listen below and hit up the Gary V Audio Experience for more.

My Website Launch Guide was born from an idea I had to take my knowledge and convert it to something that is easy to digest, practical and could be used to facilitate transformation within small a business.

Bali is an amazing place. It is truly a unique travel destination and has a lot to offer those looking to experience Indonesian culture and be immersed in the kindness of its local people.
My wife and I recently spent 7 days in Bali and as a first-time visitor to the island, it was certainly an experience to remember and one that opened my eyes to the local way of life.
Are you considering building an online community? Well, there are a few key elements you should take into consideration. Keeping in mind a community is two-way interaction, unlike an audience which is one way — a community is socially active and look to share content with their friends and social circles at every chance.
With this in mind, I have put together a list of ten key practices I believe will help build a strong and successful community.
It’s been said plenty of times before, ‘content is king’. This has not changed over time and still remains…
Finding balance can mean different things to different people. For most of us it typically means spending an appropriate amount of quality time with family while putting enough hours into our work for an acceptable reward.
I gave this topic of finding balance some thought recently while away on a brief holiday in Bali because as usual, I found it hard to ‘switch off’ (at least for the first couple days).
Let’s be real for a minute, some days can be harder than others. We all go through ups and downs and we each have our own…
