You’ve now understood what your community looks like and how your idea is empowering this community. This is your community narrative.

The next step is to explain this narrative and this vision to your community. Storytelling has been an integral part of human evolution, and it’s critical that you are able to tell your story the right way.

Visual storytelling has emerged as a fundamental way of telling your story to your community. Websites, applications, logos, and videos; all of these are visual elements that help you tell your story in the best way possible.

What are the basic building blocks you need to have for your identity?

You can work on Crafting Your Identity yourself using this guide, or you can also view bids for the different actions you need to complete from our talent network, simply log on to CommunityBuild.xyz and get started on your community journey.

  • Logo

Your logo is sometimes the first encounter with your vision for your community. It’s the only thing community members may see amidst the 100s of other communities on Discord competing for their attention. So it is really important for your logo to stand out, to convey your vision at first glance.

Your logo should also be relatable to the Web3 community and culture, and be simple and easy to understand. Good resources for designing a logo include Canva, LogoDesign and DesignHill.

  • Brandkit

Web3 companies thrive on collaboration and partnerships, which makes it extremely important to have a publicly available brand kit with variations that can be used by partners.

As part of the Brand Kit, we recommend the following minimum resources, which will also be provided by all bidders from our talent network for this particular action.

-Primary Logo (Transparent and White BG)

-Primary Logo with Wordmark (Transparent and White BG)

-Cover Photo Logo Design (Banner)

-Partnerships Poster Format (Banner)

-Brand Colors (Core and Secondary)

-Font Details

  • Proof of Work (PoW) NFTs

We realize funding the community narrative, your identity, the MVP and the idea is not an easy task for most founders. Enter Proof-of-Work (PoW) NFTs. PoW NFTs let you fund action items till the MVP stage, with the promise of future equity/tokens.

The base design for your PoW NFT is also something that is part of Action #2. Few guidelines for designing your PoW NFTs:

  • Design a base design for your PoW NFTs (view a sample here)
  • Issue the base design in five denominations: 100$, 500$, 1000$, 2500$ and 5000$

Together, these three building blocks will help you craft your identity, and tell your story effectively through a visual presence.
