I am at a loss for words (hardly ever happens :) this is so beautiful I want to somehow immortalize it, broadcast it. My kids are going to read it. As an immigrant (from Portugal) in very different circumstances I found this so touching and so familiar in so many ways. I also did “the arts thing”, the halls, the drugs, the alternative crowd, the band, etc etc etc. and then I became the immigrant (at 24) and then a father (at 31) and it all resonates… almost all of it. But personally I can tell you that the thing that caught me was the moon. The first word I taught my son was “Lua”, I too always felt lonely and looked up at the moon. When I immigrated I always looked up at her and wondered if people in Portugal saw it like I did. I also always felt like the moon would follow. Anyway, not about me, but because it’s about we, happy birthday 🤗 touching 👉❤️
