It is the time between Christmas and New year and nobody knows whether they should be working or partying. Our dear colleague Arvind is having himself a ball in Dubai while Vignesh and I sit at the office on the last Friday of the year to give you guys your final #CarPalTop5 (of the year).

It has been a glorious year, a lot of cars have been sold and a lot of deals have been closed. The five most prestigious gems for this week include some which aren’t even launched on our website, a couple of Fords and a Maruti that has managed to Amaze us.

Take a look at this week’s #CarPalTop5 and on that note, we from CarPal wish you all a very Happy New Year. Do not take your car out if you intend on taking some in. Stay safe. Stay smart.

Our #CarPalTop5 of the week

1. Ford Aspire

The Aspire is a car that recently received a good refresh. The exterior and interior changes may not look very extensive but it has overhauled just those bits that badly needed them. The 1.2L 95 HP engine offers a good driving experience. You can hardly tell it’s a 3-cyl engine.

2. Honda Amaze

Fitted with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, this Honda has managed to find it’s way into every car-buyer considering a Sedan. The 1.2L i-vTEC engine provides more than enough drive for a thrilling experience and there’s no denying the Amaze a #2 spot.

3. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Not a big surprise to see this hatchback at #3. Just recently entering the market, the interior space in the car and the refurbished designs catch the eye of every person visiting a Maruti Suzuki Showroom. It’s also equipped with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, rear parking sensors with camera, automatic climate control, rear air vents, push button start/stop and 15" alloy wheels.

4. Nissan Kicks

This is the first time that a to-be-launched car has found its way into our #Top5 and what better a car to do so that the Nissan Kicks, “The intelligent SUV”. Also the official car of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, it turns heads wherever it goes. Get booking right away!

5. Ford EcoSport

Arguably the best compact SUV in the segment, the EcoSport offers a great automatic transmission and great value for money. Ford is clearly moving to consolidate its dominant position in the compact SUV space and with the raft of updates being offered, now is the best time to look into purchasing this car.
