We went from 128 comedians down to the last one holding the mic. The champion of stand-up comedy. A true titan of not only jokes but culture in general. Idk the exact formula for great stand-up comedy but it probably includes something like clever witticisms, a cynical perspective on people’s habits, a larger-than-life personality, an ability to forever toe the line, and a general understanding that life isn’t all about you.

Idk if anyone has ever embodied all those traits on the level that Chappelle has. My dude has earned so much respect from the people in our age group because he has made sense of the nonsense over the last 20 years in the funniest way possible.
