Token-Curated Liquidity

Multidimensional viewToken Protocol

What is a curation market?

It’s a cryptoeconomic primitive (LEGO pieces for building more complex mechanisms), designed to reduce information asymmetry with tokenized signals. Ultimately, participants need to coordinate around shared goals to drive progress through creativity.

What is a token-curated registry?

It’s a list, curated by decision-makers of a network. The specific procedure empowers machines doing subjective work, i.e. answering yes/no questions. The token holders with stake in quality of the registry.

Why multidimensional?

Here is the the conundrum: both viewers and creators want simultaneous control, a.k.a. the right of 1st decision to sell. Tokenizing actions with ERC-20 or ERC-721 would not allow for a circular hierarchy between the context and its observer. If you want to mint viewer-specific tokens, you would have to create a new contract for each user. It’s better to design a protocol with multiple dimensions, using a nested mapping with strings (addresses) referring to specific rules.

How does it work?

When someone chooses to watch any content on a platform utilizing the multidimensional viewToken protocol, value is created as they spend time (and energy) watching. These “viewTokens” have three dimensions: account, general and context. Individual participants control the account-specific logic; content creators define context-specific rules for accepting bids.

viewToken is a continuous token model (CTM) on the supply side of Bidio’s decentralized marketplace

Collectively, how (and why) do we pay attention? This viewToken protocol actually empowers both viewers and creators with respective control.

In summary, ERC-888 and multidimensional curation markets will give rise to unparalleled intelligence through complete transparency and newfound granularity. It’s a public network built for token-curated liquidity. On the supply side, viewers create dimension-specific tokens just by paying attention.
