Look around the office of your average tech startup and tell me what you see.

Hopeful, overworked, slovenly men. Hoodies, sneakers, tee shirts — yet not a hint of athleisure.

Anything missing?

Despite towering over us on runways, peering down from billboards, and commanding our attention from magazines worldwide, supermodels make up a startling 0.02% of tech startup employees in North America. Their absence is heavy. Their silence speaks volumes.

That’s why we’re committed to making our staff 3% internationally recognized supermodels by 2020.

Hiring supermodels means looking at agencies differently. This isn’t about “recruiting” or “Linking In.” This is about sending dedicated envoys to Fashion Week. This is about sending scouts to music video sets. This is about looking in all the places you’ve never thought to look because ignorance is a heavy blinder. No, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show does not count.

We encourage all applicants to have 150k Instagram followers and be familiar with the catwalks of Milan, Paris, New York, and London. Please be under 32.

For the years we’ve neglected this fragile, skinny, and intimidating demographic, we are so sorry. May our future hiring practices be both healing and a light unto other companies, here and everywhere.
