Does free code camp have costs? How are they funded?

Ever consider making a low fixed-price bid instead of completely giving it away, to make a little income and to give the not-for-profit a little skin in the game? Did you try that? What happened?

Do you use tools to track your volunteers, manage them as teams, or suchlike?
