i have been using windows for a long long time developing in VB, VC, .net but when i switched over to Mac in 2010 i was hooked. also given i loved over to Java and Linux hosting and all Mac just fit better.

last 3 months on Win 10 I feel a lot bette twitch bash integration but eventually Windows doesn’t still get same support and i don’t think it will anytime soon. Windows appeal very well to the world of spreadsheets and word docs (most PMs around me use just that) and in India that’s the way it is.

Ubuntu is great if all i do is shell but given i have to work with Presentations and stuff it just leaves me hanging.

let’s hope Apple doesn’t goes to iOS on Mac. this is he sweet spot that has been working well. however, i have started using Docker recently and it has been filling he shell space very well for me on Windows and i have a feeling that this may be the future (or something similar) for us developers. i am liking the model just need to get a hang of it.

thanks for taking out the time. i am getting my MacBook today :)
