I like how you address the issues of language and language barriers. This is an important part of culture that needs to be addressed in schools. However, you might want to include how can you incorporate curriculum that incorporates different cultures, different parts of culture and people from these cultures. From there, you can talk about how to connect the content to the students and their lives and experiences.

I hadn’t thought about assessments so that was an interesting part of what you discussed in your blog. I see how it is definitely something we need to think about as teachers to ensure equal opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding. Thank you for sharing. :)
