I’m just kidding. I never saw Jeffrey Epstein walk into a bar, or in this case, the Parisian Les Bains Douches nightclub, affectionately called Les Bains. But if Jeffrey knew Jean-Luc in the early nineties, he would have loved the public bathhouse turned nightclub and the place to be seen. From the early 1970’s, it was rumored its’ clientele were only insiders, no tourists or outsiders allowed. This facilitated the schmoozing and shady dealings. A budding writer, I kept careful notes after moving to Paris as a 17-year-old in 1986, when I signed with Elite Plus, an offshoot of John Casablanca’s Elite modeling agency.
