Interesting to see how your company made the decision. Did you ever take a look at Aurelia? We decided for Aurelia and against Angular 2. Maybe take a look here: http://kabaehr.de/blog/aurelia-in-production/ Unfortunately I had not the time to blog some more about our experiences yet, but we are still happy with the decision. There were no breaking changes since we started the project in May. The answers for the the three important points regarding support, community and risk would be all answered very positiv, but i don´t want to write a novel here :)
