2015 →2016

Taken in Goa on 27th Dec 2015 with my Nexus 5x

Well here we are, in the new year with many hopes and dreams for the times ahead. Looking back, 2015 was a wild ride. I started a company with my childhood friend and it has been one hell of an experience.

Starting your own business will teach you many things, most of all how to deal with failure and disappointment.

It is now obvious to me that anybody that has done anything worth doing must have crawled through some serious sh*t to make it there. At many times, success seems further and further away and you feel closer and closer to breaking. But confide in your friends and family to give you the strength when you cannot get it from within.

“Change might not be fast and it isn’t always easy. But with time and effort, almost any habit can be reshaped.” ― Charles Duhigg, The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business

Take some time during these first few days to analyse 2015 and some of the habits that may have kept you from achieving more and being happy. Most of all don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t get everything you want. We are all human and there is only that much we can control in the universe. If you’re knocked down, re-evaluate, re-plan and then execute.

2016 like every other year brings opportunity to be more knowledgeable, happy and successful. Embrace your strengths and take small and calculated steps to get over your weaknesses. I know after looking back I could have done many things differently, but this is no time for regrets. This is the time for action and progress! This year I will be different, this year I will be healthier, this year I will love more, and most importantly be HAPPY!
