How has the venture capital world changed? A look at the ’80s and today.

Since I started the Startup Tuesday podcast about one short month ago, I’ve not only had thousands of listeners, I’ve had tons of questions, too.
And one of the most popular questions from entrepreneurs has been, “Should I go for funding or bootstrap it?”

This week, I am excited to share insights on just that — from an insightful conversation I had with Susannah Bailin.
Not only is Susannah a Harvard Business School grad, she is an entrepreneur (founded Advice Coach in 2014) with a unique perspective. She started her career in the venture capital world in 1984, long before dotcoms and the Internet — so has, literally, seen it all.
How has the venture capital climate changed since the ‘80s? What lessons can we learn from the pre-dotcom days? Should founders go straight for funding or bootstrap it first?
Susannah gives her insights on venture capital, growing a business, and bootstrapping — and shares her own lessons learned along the way.
